Je Veux Te Voir (Slumdog Millionaire)
So this is a reflection of the current state I’m in right now. I am a year 4 student in Republic Polytechnic and I am required to go to school zero days a week. I am broke, I’m unemployed and yes, my spending habit is still extravagant. I still club two to three times a week, I still smoke half a pack a day and am still hoping to get my own mixer, another turntable, a Lamborghini Murciélago and three girlfriends.
So ya, you may ask. Why the fuck do I not need to go to school? That’s because I fucking failed my FYP. Yes people, all the effort I've put into that fucking piece of shit FYP has gone to waste. Like of all things I failed my FYP! Ok fuck that shit; I shall not talk about it.
The holidays have been very…underproductive for me. I haven’t really been recording mixes, or produce music or anything. All I do is club, wake up in the late afternoon, slack at the void deck under Block 751, Yishun Street 72 and club. Every night is like Powerhouse or Arena or Spinny’s or Rebel… Rebel has been enforcing discriminatory entry requirements lately. “The management reserves the right to deny entry to anyone with giving any reason.” Fuck you ah! Don’t want let Malay go in say lah, you mother cheebye you! Fucking go there every week sial!
And news has it that Powerhouse will be ending their ‘Free entry to tertiary students’ offer soon. Thus no more free clubbing, no more faggots dancing on the podium and no more “DJ Kzee, in the mix!”. But the cover charge for Zouk is almost free nowadays so what the hell? And we can always get invites to Butter Factory etc.
Oh my god I just watched Slumdog Millionaire and it’s like the best movie ever. Like I think everyone in the world should watch it. It’s about this guy who used to live in the slums and wins Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and the police thought he cheated then he has this flashbacks that show how fucked up his life was. Everyone one should watch the movie; it’s funtarstic, mind-blasting!
